Almost every pair of underwear made today is designed for a workout. Compression, wicking, stretch. It is gear, built for running and jumping.

But most of a man's life happens somewhere else. At a desk. At dinner. On a long flight. Reading on a Sunday morning. We wanted to make something for those hours. Boxers for living.

The Set of Three is the complete way to start with colour. Three Evening Boxers, one each in Cabernet, Racing Green, and Pageant Blue, each cut from 100% Mercerised cotton. Mercerisation is a finishing process that dates back to the 1800s. The result is a fabric with a soft natural sheen, a smooth hand, and colour that runs deep and holds through washing. It breathes. It keeps its shape. It feels cool against the skin. It is light, so it sits easily under anything.

Every pair is made in Portugal. Our fabric comes from a mill that is a Certified B Corporation, holds OEKO-TEX STeP certification for sustainable and safe production, and is ISO 14001 certified for environmental management. Much of the facility runs on its own solar array.

Each pair is cut and sewn by hand in a family owned and operated manufacturing facility, also in Portugal.

Maru Mori is based in New York. For now we make one thing, the Evening Boxer, and we are focused on making it well.
